E-commerce website development

A good online store makes buying easy and makes every price explainable: clear product pages, a short checkout and payments in your customers’ currency. OWL & GOATS starts e-commerce work as a fixed-price first project from $2,500 (12,900 MAD in Morocco), and a full store gets a firm written quote.

What an e-commerce website needs

  • Product pages that sell

Good photos, clear options and honest descriptions. Each product gets its own page that can be shared and found on Google.

  • A short checkout

Few steps, guest checkout where it makes sense, and the payment methods your customers already use.

  • Currencies and markets

Selling abroad means prices in several currencies, taxes and shipping rules per country. Plan them before the first launch.

  • Prices you can explain

Product cost, shipping and fees set to a target margin, so every price on the store still makes money.

  • Customer accounts and orders

Order history, saved addresses and clear emails after each purchase. Fewer “where is my order?” messages.

  • The platform

Shopify, WooCommerce on WordPress, or a custom build. The right one depends on your catalogue, your team and your integrations.

Your three options

  • A store builder on your own

Shopify and similar tools are quick to start with a theme. You pay with your time, and design, apps and integrations add up.

  • A freelancer

Flexible and often affordable. Catalogue, payments, design and support after launch rest on one person.

  • An agency

Brand, store, catalogue, pricing and launch in one team, with a fixed quote and a store you own. Costs more than a freelancer at the start.

How we build your online store

  1. 1 You tell us what you sell

Products, markets and the platform you use, if any: in one sentence on our quote form or on WhatsApp.

  2. 2 A founder replies with a fixed quote

Within one business day, with the pages, payments and integrations written down.

  3. 3 We build and launch

Store, product pages and checkout, tested on phones and reviewed by a founder before launch.

  4. 4 You run it, we help it grow

We show your team how to add products. Continue on a monthly plan if you want; the first project is then credited in full.

Questions

How much does an e-commerce website cost?

With OWL & GOATS, e-commerce work starts as a fixed-price first project from $2,500 (12,900 MAD in Morocco), delivered in 2–3 weeks. A full store or a migration gets a firm written quote after a short scoping call.

Do you build Shopify stores?

Yes, when Shopify fits your catalogue and team. We also build on WooCommerce for WordPress and build custom stores when you need features a platform does not offer. We recommend the platform before we quote.

Shopify, WooCommerce or custom: which should I choose?

Shopify is quick and hosted for you. WooCommerce gives you more control on WordPress. A custom store suits unusual pricing, B2B rules or deep integrations. The choice depends on what you sell and who runs the store.

Can the store sell in several currencies?

Yes. For Saturn we built a store that shows prices in several currencies, with customer accounts and prices traced to their landed cost.

Can you take over or fix an existing store?

Yes. A fix or redesign of an existing store can be a first project. We review it, write down what to change and give you a fixed quote.

Do you build B2B e-commerce?

Yes. Trade prices, minimum orders and customer accounts are scoped in the quote, because they change how the store works.

Will I own the store?

Yes. The accounts, the domain, the design and your customer data are yours.
