Prices you can explain, quotes in minutes

Most small companies price with a multiplier and quote by hand. Both break when costs move. This scenario gives you prices you can explain line by line, and quotes that leave in minutes instead of days.

Why it matters in 2026

Through 2025 and 2026, shipping rates, exchange rates, customs and supplier prices have kept moving. A fixed “cost × 3” looks fine until one of those inputs changes and the margin quietly disappears on your best sellers. On the other side, buyers compare several offers at once, and the first clear quote often wins. A pricing engine fixes the first problem and a smart quote form fixes the second; together they turn pricing from a guess into a decision.

You need this if

  • You set prices with one multiplier for every product.
  • You are not sure which products actually make money after shipping, fees and returns.
  • Quotes take a day or more because someone has to work them out by hand.
  • A change in exchange rate or shipping cost means hours of updating spreadsheets.

How we deliver it

  1. 1 Map the real costs

We list every cost that sits between your supplier and your client: product, shipping, customs, payment fees, returns, packaging and your time, with where each number comes from.

  2. 2 Build the pricing engine

Each price is calculated from landed cost and a target margin you choose, rounded the way your market expects. Change one input and every affected price updates, with the reason shown.

  3. 3 Add a smart quote form

Clients pick what they need in a few steps; the form turns it into a structured brief with an estimate range, so your team confirms a quote instead of building it from scratch.

  4. 4 Watch the margin

A simple dashboard shows margin per product and per order, and flags anything that falls below your floor after a cost change.

What you get

  • A cost map with the source of every number
  • A pricing engine on landed cost and target margin
  • Prices that update when costs change, with the reason shown
  • A step-by-step quote form that produces structured briefs
  • Margin alerts per product and per order

What we will not promise

We will not invent a cost or a price. Where a number is unknown, the engine shows it as missing, so nobody sells below cost by accident.

Questions

Does this work in a Google Sheet?

Yes. For many small catalogues the engine can live in the spreadsheet you already use; for larger ones we build it into your shop or back office.

Can it handle several currencies?

Yes. Costs and prices can be in different currencies, with the exchange rate as one of the inputs you can update or fetch automatically.

Will the quote form give clients a final price?

Only if you want it to. Most clients prefer a range or “from” price on the form, with the final quote confirmed by a person.
